How Your New Roof Goes On
A full replacement, layer by layer, shown with photos from L.I.N.Y. jobs. Scroll through it, then ask Ryan how it applies to your house.
STEP 01
Tear-off, down to the deck
The old shingles and underlayment come off so the roof deck can be seen and checked, not covered over.
STEP 02
Deck check & repairs
Soft or damaged boards get cut out and replaced, so the new roof sits on solid wood.
STEP 03
Underlayment & ice protection
A waterproof layer goes down over the whole deck, with extra protection at the edges and valleys where water collects.
STEP 04
Flashing that keeps leaks out
Skylights, chimneys and walls get new flashing, the spots most leaks start from.
STEP 05
New shingles
Shingles are laid in straight, tight courses in the color you picked, from the eaves up to the ridge.
STEP 06
Ridge, vents & cleanup
Ridge caps and vents finish the roof, then the property gets cleaned up before the crew leaves.
